The summary below highlights the main features of Cameron’s United States Employee Benefit programs. These programs are available on the first day of active employment with Cameron unless otherwise noted.
- Medical – Employees are offered two medical options administered by CIGNA. Included in the medical plan is a prescription plan offering both retail and mail order programs. The Cameron medical program was designed to provide all employees and their eligible dependents with high quality medical coverage in a cost efficient way. The Company and employee share the cost of medical and prescription drug coverages.
- Dental – The Company offers dental coverage for employees and their eligible dependents. The dental plan covers preventive, basic, major dentistry as well as orthodontics for children up to age 19. The Company and employee share the cost of dental coverage. Delta Dental is the dental plan provider.
- Vision – Cameron offers a voluntary, fully insured vision care plan for employees and eligible dependents through VSP. Employees pay the full cost for this benefit.
- Flexible Spending Accounts – Two types of flexible spending accounts allow employees to cover out-of-pocket expenses on a pre-tax basis, and are subject to IRS regulations.
- Healthcare Spending Account – allows employees to reimburse themselves for copays, deductibles, coinsurance and even certain over the counter medications
- Dependent Care Spending Account – reimburses employees dependent care expenses for eligible dependents through age 13
- Basic Life Insurance – Employees are covered by life insurance equal to one times their base annual pay. The cost of this coverage is paid in full by the Company.
- Supplemental Life Insurance – Employees may elect additional life insurance coverage for themselves and coverage for their eligible dependents at competitive group rates.
- Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) – The Company provides employees additional benefits of one times base annual pay in case of death or loss of bodily function caused by an accident.
- Voluntary Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) – Employees may elect additional AD&D coverage for themselves and/or their dependents at competitive group rates.
- Business Travel Accident Insurance – The Company provides five times annual base pay in the event of accidental death while traveling on Company business.
- Short-term Disability – This coverage provides employees’ income continuation for a short-term disability, after six months of employment. The Company pays for this coverage.
- Long-term Disability – Long-term disability benefits provide an income should an employee become totally disabled. The Company pays the full cost for this coverage,.
- 401(k) – Employees can elect to save from 1%-50% of earnings on a pre-tax basis in the 401(k) plan. Cameron matches 100% of the employee’s contribution up to 6% of eligible pay. Employees are immediately 100% vested in both their 401(k) contribution and the Company contributions. Participants may select from among nine investment options and four asset allocation models.
- Cameron Retirement Contribution – Employees will automatically receive a Cameron Retirement Contribution equal to 3% of eligible pay up to the IRS compensation limit. The Retirement Contribution will occur even if the employee does not contribute to the plan. Employees will be 100% vested in the Retirement Contribution Plan after three years of service.
- Educational Assistance – Cameron provides full-time employees reimbursement of tuition, books and related costs, excluding parking fees, for a maximum of $5,250 per year for job-related vocational training courses and college level courses at fully accredited educational institutions.
- Vacation – Vacation is provided based on tenure at the Company.
- Holidays – The Company provides ten paid holidays per year.
