Metrol® Chemical Dosing Systems

A very flexible and high performance system for the addition of chemicals into water treatment systems.

Overview
Metrol Chemical Dosing Systems are used to add a wide variety of chemicals into water being treated prior to disposal or further use.  A number of tanks in various sizes are available depending upon the facility's location and specific need, and these are combined into a centrally located package.  Chemicals can be added to the treatment process either sequentially or at different points in the scheme.

Operating Principle & Key Features
The Metrol Chemical Dosing System is an integral part of any system where chemicals need to be added as part of a water treatment methodology.  Dosing can be done at different points on a sequential basis where the flow rate stays the same and the dosing requirement varies, or through a graded multi-point arrangement, where the chemicals are added to the main flow proportionately by volume and simultaneously at several points in the treatment scheme.

Chemicals are stored and dosed from a centrally located package, which consists of multiple storage and/or dilution tanks with a set of dosing pumps.  The number of individual tanks and their size will depend on the specific chemicals needed, their number, anticipated usage, and delivery intervals.

The chemical dosing unit can be designed to meet the specific needs of a treatment plan, and as it is modular, is adaptable to changing conditions.  The unit's high performance for its weight and moderate space requirements make it ideal for use where space is a concern and reliability is essential.
